Nosag springs, also known as serpentine springs or zig-zag springs, are perhaps one of the most well-known, and currently most widely used high-quality springs in larger seating furniture.

Ready-made or custom-cut nosag springs, 3.8mm thick, 4.5cm wide, and a maximum of 16 turns/approx. 64cm long.
If your required size does not exactly match one of the selection options, always choose the closest LARGER size.

How to determine the correct size?

To determine the size, it is best to go by the length of the old spring. Unlike the slightly convex variant, due to the strong curve, you cannot rely on the straight-line measurement between the rails to be spanned. Therefore, measure the length over the curve of the old spring. So, not the number of turns of the old spring, but the centimeter measurement is decisive.

What is a turn?

A "turn" is one arch of the spring. Although the number of turns affects the total length, the actual length in centimeters is always the most important criterion when choosing the right nosag spring.
